Ruby Valley Ganesh Himal homestay trekking is an offbeat track virgin trek yet. This trek is probably your dream come true to fulfill your desire to explore the unspoiled wilderness. The sights of Annapurna, Manaslu, and Langtang can be seen from the passes and high terrain.
Ruby Valley Ganesh Himal homestay trekking is the combination of unspoiled wilderness, adventure, culture & people, and beautiful scenery. This trek will let you explore Langtang, Manaslu & Ganesh Himal itself. We start our journey from Kathmandu towards Syaprubeshi 1503M, driving 7 hours through the Himalayan terrain. We can see the diversified landscape during the bus journey from the first day. The trek starts at Syaprubeshi, which is a small town in the north of Kathmandu. Our journey begins in the Langtang region, exploring the Tamang people's culture, customs, traditions, way of living, arts & architecture. During the trek, we have to cross the Pangsang-La 3842 m pass and traverse through highland terrain as well as tropical gorges.
This Ganesh Himal region is famous for Gold, Ruby, Copper, Zinc, Aluminum, iron, and other minerals. During trekking, we will pass through a bunch of beautiful waterfalls and springs. Above 1500 m, the trees will be Rhododendron, juniper, fir, and some other alpine vegetation. We can see Gurung, Magar, Brahmin, Tamang, Chepang, as well as some other tribal people can be seen during the trekking.
Though its remote region, we can stay in the local homes with people sharing stories, smile, knowledge & ideas. Staying in the local home with local people makes you go beyond the information that you explore from the book.
During the trekking, we pass through several villages which fascinate us with their unique way of building and the art and architecture used during the construction. At the end, we will have to drive again. We will take a four-wheel jeep from Darkha Phedi to Dhading Beshi that takes several hours and offers beautiful scenery.
At the end of the Ruby Valley Ganesh Himal homestays trekking, you will find it completely different from others, and you can feel that your dream is not a dream anymore.
Ruby Valley is a trekking area in Dhading district, Nepal. It is called Ruby Valley because ruby mines were found near Chalise Danda village. Many travelers come here to see real Tamang life. You can stay with families through homestays. The scenery is also a big draw. Trails pass through pine forests, terraced farm plots, and wide views toward the Ganesh Himal.
Ruby Valley lies between the Ganesh Himal area and the Langtang area. Because of that, trekkers often join it with either route. This can make the trip longer and more varied. You get both local culture time and also higher mountain scenery.
For people who want something less busy, Ruby Valley fits well. It also pairs naturally with well-known treks in central Nepal. Overall, it offers a community stay feel plus the classic Himalayan trek experience.
