Trek Overview

Trek Overview

Everest Rollwaling Tashi Lapcha Pass trekking is combine with two valleys Rollwaling and Khumbu. The Tashi Lapcha Pass, a region of Rolwaling valley situates in the west of Everest, south of Tibet, east of Dorje Lakpa and Langtang Himal and in the lap of Gauri Shankar. The latitude goes from Gauri Shankar considers the standard time of Nepal. It was even banned for a few years due to high risk of exploding Tsho-Rolpa lake caused by glacier melting. This has made a suitable impression of separation and High Mountains. The small resolution of villages, which accessed a steep path of dizzying suspension bridge and gorges are characteristic of this valley resident by Sherpas and Tamangs.

Tashi Lapcha pass is mainly most adventurous because of common ice fall on its west part.  The Rollwaling tashi Lapch Pass trek also can combine with mount Everest Base Camp. While the route through the icefall is technically difficult due to movement of an immaculate glacier. For the glacier and the pass, it requires a skill of the mountain guide towards the journey. Tashi Lapcha is a border of Rollwaling and Everest region which offer a good combination of religious and cultural diversities, flora and fauna, a heart of the mountain and panoramic view of greater Himalayas such as Pachharma peak, Ramdung Peak, and range of Everest in the east and Dorje Lakpa and range of Langtang in west.

The Everest Rolwaling Tashi Lapcha Pass trek is known for bringing together two big areas in Nepal. You pass from the quiet Rolwaling Valley into the Everest, or Khumbu, zone. The route includes a high crossing that feels intense and unforgettable. You will not have the same crowd you see on more common Everest Base Camp paths. Most days have space for your own pace. You also get clear glacier scenery and Sherpa life that still feels real, not staged for visitors.

Tashi Lapcha Pass sits at 5,755m. Reaching it is not a simple walk. You deal with glaciers, steep ice and snow, and at times fixed ropes. This is why the trek fits mainly people with strong trekking skills, good acclimatization, and a guide who knows the route well. If you manage it, the payoff is huge. From the top you can see Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu. You can also look toward the taller peaks of Rolwaling, including Gaurishankar.
