Brief information of HECAC:
HECAC was founded in 2004.HECAC (Himalayan Environmental and Cultural Awareness Center)Nepal a non-profit organization, truly committed in helping deprived people of remote areas around the mid hills of Nepal Himalaya.
Besides supporting orphanage children HECAC is strongly engaged in ecological management and environmental protection of the Himalayas.
Main aim of HECAC – Sponsor a child Project, has designed the Child Sponsor project with the vision of hope, a small contribution of financial help and support can benefit even change the lives of many poor and needy children of the rural village communities.
With your time visiting, it will certainly help change the lives of poor family.
In the near future HECAC targets teaching the parents as well, as we believe parents play a major role in children’s education and bringing up as well, children spend most of their time at home and only five to six hours a day in school.
Therefore, HECAC aims to work with children as well with their parents, in an effort to increase the general populations’ confidence and the value of education, environment and culture.
Education is a path to light; it pulls human being out of darkness and pushes into happiness of life. Considering this, since its establishment of HECAC has been supporting the needy children of Nepal.
HECAC continues to improve its oven program and back ground projects:
Last year, Himalayan Environmental and Cultural Awareness Center (HECAC) got many environmental concerned proposals from different parts of remote villages. HECAC coordinator also made the field visit and survey in concerned places.
After studying of all different proposals and field visit in various places, HECAC Proposal Selection Committee (PSC) selected “an improved oven project” which was submitted by Salang Village (Dhading District) Development Committee (V.D.C) Ward no 4.
