Myagdi Baglung Eco trek is the newly introduced trekking trail which passes through the village and trail of Myagdhi and Baglung district. This trek goes through the trail of Myagdi and Baglung district. This region is located towards the west of Annapurna and south of Dhaulagiri. This trek offers a great variety of landscape, custom, culture, and tradition of Gurung, Thakali, Brahmin, Chhetri and Magar people. The majority is Magar people so we can have a chance to explore Magar culture, custom, tradition and the way of living in this region. During this trek, we have to traverse through varied landscape and terrain.
Myagdi Baglung Eco trek is very special for some reason like it goes through the offbeat trail, Indigenous people and culture,Dhorpatan hunting reserve and its remote access. During this trekking, we go through little high elevation around 3200M and we can see the spectacular Himalayan view. The major attraction of this trek is Magar culture and Dhorpatan hunting reserve. The Magar people one of the major ethnic group people from Nepal living in the big group in this region. We can say that this Myagdhi Baglung region is the home of Magar culture, custom, tradition. In the middle of the trek, our trail goes through Dhorpatan hunting reserve where we can see many different types of birds, animals, and vegetation.

This trek will take you to the heart of unexplored Magar village, culture, people and the way of living since the early time. The Magar is one of the major ethnic groups of Nepal living in the west and the midwestern hilly areas and following the Hinduism and their own rituals as well. During this trek, we have to sleep in local homes or in the wild using the tent and prepare our food by our self. But in the village areas, there is the facility of staying in the local home called home stay so we can get close to local culture, custom, tradition, and way of living from the close distance.
