Transfer to hotel

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, meet Himalayan Smile Treks & Adventures representative who will assist your transfer to the hotel. The hotel we usually book is located at Thamel which is tourism hub of Kathmandu. Hence, drive 7 km from airport to Thamel which will take 15 to 20 min, and check-in to the hotel.

Orientation program

Walk 3 -5 minutes to our office in Thamel, Saatghumti for the orientation program. Meet and negotiate with Managing Director Mr. KP Subedi and discuss about the tour. Remaining amount an be paid by cash and credit card.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square

Pashupatinath temple

Pashupatinath, often referred to as Pashupatinath Temple, is one of the most sacred and significant Hindu temples in Nepal. It is located in the Kathmandu Valley, on the banks of the Bagmati River, in the capital city of Kathmandu. Trishuli river rafting

Drive Kathmandu to Charaudi (approximately 3 to 4 hrs / 85 km) to the starting point of Trishuli river rafting. Have a tea/coffee and prepare for the rafting. Trishuli river rafting is fun challenging with a good mixture of continuous rapids and pleasant calm water. The rafting ends at Kuringhat, a small and picturesque village followed by the river.

Drive to Phedi. Hike Dhampus

It's often used as a starting point for treks to the Annapurna Base Camp and other trekking destinations in the Annapurna region. To drive from Pokhara to Phedi or other nearby trekking trailheads, you can follow these general directions: Start in Pokhara: Begin your journey in the city of Pokhara, which is a major gateway to trekking in the Annapurna region. Pokhara is well-connected by road to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, and other major cities. Head East: From Pokhara, you'll typically head east on the Prithvi Highway (also known as the Kathmandu-Pokhara Highway) towards the direction of Kathmandu. Follow the Signs: Along the way, you should see road signs or directions indicating the way to Phedi or whichever trekking trailhead you intend to reach. The specific route may vary depending on the trailhead you're targeting. Drive Safely: The roads in this area can be winding and sometimes in mountainous terrain, so it's essential to drive safely and follow traffic rules. Be prepared for varying road conditions, including paved and unpaved roads. Trekking Trailheads: Phedi is a common starting point for the trek to the Annapurna Base Camp, and it's relatively close to Pokhara. Hike to Phedi. Drive back to Pokhara

Drive to Chitwan

Driving to Chitwan, a popular tourist destination in Nepal known for its national park and wildlife conservation, typically involves starting from the nearest major city, which is Kathmandu.

Chitwan National Park

After breakfast 10 minute drive to Elephant riding place. The Elephant safari, an excellent opportunity to encounter rhinoceros, deer, rhesus monkey, wild boar, wild cats. Leopards, even royal Bengal tiger if you are lucky and other mammals. After lunch Canoe ride along the Rapti River. While canoeing you can view various species of birds and crocodiles on the bank of river. Visit Elephant breeding center watching and jungle walk.When you back to your lodge you can visit National Park Visitor Center where you can get detail information about National Park. In the afternoon you can also enjoy the elephant bathing. Dinner. Overnight at hotel in Chitwan.

Drive Chitwan to Kathmandu.

Driving from Chitwan to Kathmandu is a common route for travelers who have visited Chitwan National Park and want to return to the capital city of Nepal. Here are the general driving directions for this journey: Starting Point - Chitwan: Begin your journey in Chitwan, which is located in the southern part of Nepal. Destination - Kathmandu: You'll be driving north to Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Main Route - Prithvi Highway: The primary route for this journey is to take the Prithvi Highway (also known as the Prithvi Rajmarg or Prithvi Highway) from Chitwan to Kathmandu. Drive North: From Chitwan, head north on the Prithvi Highway, which will take you through scenic landscapes, including hills and rivers. The drive can be quite picturesque as you pass through various towns and villages. Pass Through Cities: Along the way, you'll pass through cities like Bharatpur, which is the largest city in Chitwan District and serves as a major transit point. Continue on the Prithvi Highway. Kathmandu Valley: As you approach the Kathmandu Valley, you'll pass through towns like Thankot, which is a gateway to the valley. Continue on the highway as you approach the city of Kathmandu. Destination - Kathmandu: Once you enter the Kathmandu Valley, you'll continue on the Prithvi Highway until you reach your destination in Kathmandu. The specific area within Kathmandu will depend on your destination in the city.
