Machhapuchhre trekking is one of the newly identified trekking trails in Annapurna region. The trail takes visitors to the closest view of Mt. Mardi (5553 m) and Mt. Machhapurchare (6997 m) also popular as Mt. Fishtail among most of foreigners. Mt. Fishtail is still virgin for mountaineering activity and not opened for this by Nepal government to preserve its unique fish tail shape. Besides mountain views this trekking trail also offers scenic beauty of streams, lush vegetation and indigenous lifestyles and culture of ethnic dwellers. This trail also holds importance in the context of road construction along the traditional trekking routes of Annapurna region. On the first day of trekking day we take short drive from Pokhara to Mardi Pool. Then start trekking to Hile. Following days we visit Khumai, Korchaung, Kharka, Pipar, Karuwa, Ghiprang, Gharchok and end our trek at Mardi Pool.
