Ghale Gaun Lamjung Himal trekking is an alternative route of Annapurna region. Ghale Gaon is a beautiful village occupied by Gurung people, a indigenous group of Nepal, nestled amidst great mountains on the of the green hills. The view from the villages stretches from Buddha himal, Himalchuli, Manasalu, Peak 26 to the northeast Mt. Lamjung, Mt. Annapurna I and II and Mt. Machhapuchhare. We arrive this beautiful village after two days trek from Beshisahar, the headquarter of Lamjung district. After one night stay in Ghalegaon with cultural show of local inhabitants we move to the way of Dudhapokhari. Dudhapokhari is a sacred lake and also the major pilgrimage site of local inhabitants where great fair is occurred on Janai Purnima in August. Visiting this lake we trek down to Beshi Sahar via the same previous route. This trekking trail passes through the dense forests, villages and awesome waterfalls. Colorful rhododendrons, chirping sound of the birds on the trail simply takes all the trekkers close up with the nature. To trek in this trail apart from conservation fee no special permits is required.
