Budget Everest base camp trek highlights the step foot of the world’s highest peak Mt. Everest (8848 m) gets nearer than you could ever imagine. On the other hand, explore the land of Sherpas with cultural housings and tea houses in, Panghboche, and Dingboche. The trekking trail passes through a bank of Dudh Koshi valley high above the gorge and reaches Tengboche which is famous for its historic monastery. At this point, you can view Mt. Everest and some other towering peaks. Hence, the mountain gets very close just above your head as we reach the higher provinces. The region has various species of flowers including Rhododendron (the national flower of Nepal). Wild animals like Himalayan tahr, black bear, snow leopard, etc are found there. Historically believed to be Yeti was also seen in ancient times. Who knows if you will meet this abominable snowman eventually?
Budget Everest base camp trek has a few modifications that helped the package be budget-friendly. For an instant, we drive Kathmandu to Salleri instead of a flight to Lukla airport. It takes approximately 8 hours to reach while you could view a pleasant lifestyle in a lower part of Solukhumbu. The next day we start our journey with beautiful scenery leading towards the Takshindo monastery the hilltop from where we can see the Panoramic view of the Himalayas including Mt Everest and some other beautiful mountains. After the trail descends down towards the Dudh Koshi River which follows the Everest classic trail. Lastly, take the most relieving mountain flight while back to Kathmandu.
