Norbulingka palace , Lhasa
Norbulingka palace is the summer palace of the Dalai Lama which is lies in a quiet and beautiful garden in the Lhasa . The well preserved murals , greenery and frescoses are fascinating sights are not to miss. One special mural of the garden shows the history of Tibet and all the Dalai Lamas. The Dalai Lamas was living in these rooms during his last days in Tibet , here you can also see the cars of Dalai Lamas which he imported to tibet in 13th century . It is also known as the biggest man _ made park of Tibet , in past Dalai Lamas solved the political problems and held several festive celebrations here , but it has now been turned into a park for the tibet tourists .
Yambajan , Xinhua
Yambajan is one of the famous place because of its wide range of hot springs from ones with the highest temperatures in the Tibet to boiling geysers . It sits in the bottom of Nyainqentanglha Mountains about 90 kilometers of Lhasa. In the morning , the town is covered in a white and amazing vapor . The hot springs in Yambajan contain various minerals which are believed to be the therapeutic.
Jokhang temple and Barkhor Bazaar , Ancient Lhasa
Barkhor is the small neighborhood of ancient streets and Jokhang temple is one of the holiest , most active temple of the Buddha in Tibet . In every year thousands pilgrims visit this temple because it is famous one of the ancient Buddah temple .The temple used to be called “House of Wisdom”. The Barkhoor streets are full of religious atmosphere and show the interior Lhasa . In streets there are many circle shops in which they offer prayer wheels , tarditional Tibetan clothing , Tibetan knives and religious articles . Walking in a clockwise direction is better for the visitors , because of many lanes there are similar . It is not better stay too late in the street.
Samye Monastery, Chatang

Samye Monstery was built during the period of the Trisong Detsen in the 18th century , and it is considered as the first monastery in the Tibet featuring Buddhist laws and monks where the famous debate between ancient indian Buddhism and inland Buddhism happened . Samye Monastery was the largest Monastrey in the period of Tubo . It is great place for the residence of Tibet there are many valued inheritances about history , religion, building and many murals in different periods of Tibet .
Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon , Tibet
The Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon is one of the most famous , deepest and longest canyons in the world . The river of Yarlung Zangpo starts at Mountain Kailash before reaching the Mainling and Medog counties , the highest peak in the eastern section of the Himalayas , carving amazing U -shaped gorge . The largest canyon is home to many animals and plants and famous because of its wide range . Many photographers came and visit this place to preserve its picturesque scenes .
Drepung Monastery . Lhasa
Derpung was once Tibet’s largest monastery , about 8 Km to the west of central Lhasa , with the population of around 10,000 monks.There are many colleges for the study of Buddhist philosophy and interesting sight to see the important Gelupla monasteries . The ganden palace also located in the complex of Drepung , is the dalai Lamas used to live before the potala palace was built . The unique architecture , wonderful scenes enhance its beauty and attracts many tourists to visit this place .
Potala Palace, Lhasa
Potala Palace is considered to be the top most constructed palace from sea level in the world and one of the most recommended attraction for tourist around the world. It was Tibetan prestige house when it was constructed in 1645 because of dwelling of Dalai Lama until 1959 but now it’s just an artistic, architectural and historic cultural museum of Tibet for tourist. The Palace has 1000 rooms and different sections, some of them are damages during the conflict between Tibetans and Chine but still its a wonderful place to visit this this century.
Lhasa
Lhasa is known as the cultural , political and economic center of Tibet and called the heart and soul of Tibet . There are many tourists attractions in Lhasa include the Potala Palace , Norbulinka palace , Jokhang temple , and Sera monasteries for the tourists to make their tour memorable . Innumerable shops and wayside peddlers selling everything from prayer flags to skulls is the most wonderful of the experience of being in Tibet.
Mountain Kailash , Transhimalya
Mount kailash is also known as Kailas mountain , It is situated in the peak of Kailas range which are the part of Transhimalaya in tibet . Kailash is a one of the sacred mountain which means ‘ Treasure or saint of snow mountain ‘ in Tibetan . Every year thousand persons of different faiths visit this mountain , walking around the mountain is a popular ceremony . it is considered that one circle around the mountain can amend for all the sins and completing ten circles around the mountain will prevent you hell and one hundred circles makes a person like Buddha .
